Farewell to the Funfair
Join Sustainable Wales and guests as we hold a farewell thank you event for Porthcawl funfair.
The celebration will include fairground-influenced film, live music, photographs and a reading from the book 'Fairground Music' all created and involving local artists. Porthcawl Mayor Elen Jones will join the celebration. Contributors include Robert Minhinnick, Eamon and Lucy Bourke and Magic Marmalade Machine - Peter Morgan and Richard Thomas.
Entry is free but donations are welcome.

About the location: Mackworth Rd, Porthcawl CF36 5BT 01656 782432 The Hi Tide has a history dating back to 1947 when Giovanni opened a beach shop and a few wooden stalls selling teas for the beach. Since these small beginnings, the Hi-Tide has steadily grown to become the borough's top cabaret and function venue. The Harbour Lights bar is a sea-facing lounge with outstanding beach views and is traffic free. Ample seating both inside and on our sun deck, provides an ideal place to enjoy daily meals and drinks.
