Bridgend Astro’s rescheduled solar event will take place this Sunday (weather permitting!) at Rest Bay. Come along and take a safe peek at our star through our telescopes or have a look at a selection of the latest amazing smart telescopes from Seestar that will be in use. We will have lots of info on hand on what these super smart scopes can do - you will be amazed! Juniors can pick up some cool literature on our solar system, space rocks, rockets and lots more as well as a BAS sticker! Why not ask about becoming a member and support your local society?

ALL OUR EQUIPMENT WILL USE SAFE SOLAR FILTERS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LOOK AT THE SUN WITHOUT SAFE FILTERS, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN BLINDNESS.
