Newton (Porthcawl) & Candleston History Walk

Explore the fascinating history of Newton and Candleston with author and TV history expert Graham Loveluck-Edwards this Saturday.
The walk is just under 7 miles between Newton Burrows and Candleston. This was once prime arable farmland and the site of a thriving community which we uncover as part of our walk.
As we visit a ghost town, an abandoned castle (that isn’t really a castle), a road associated with a 14th century miracle and a holy well, there is no shortage of mad history and incredible folklore.
