About the location: Mackworth Rd, Porthcawl CF36 5BT 01656 782432 The Hi Tide has a history dating back to 1947 when Giovanni opened a beach shop and a few wooden stalls selling teas for the beach. Since these small beginnings, the Hi-Tide has steadily grown to become the borough's top cabaret and function venue.
